View while watching the Friday Night Roping!

Well, we arrived safely in Colorado! We've been lovin' every minute of it!! Keith and Leisha Lanz, Angela's parents, have been wonderful hosts here in the Rockies! Keith is the foreman at the M Lazy C Ranch just north of Colorado Springs. Leisha, a 2nd grade school teacher, helps out at the ranch during the summers doing many things. From cleaning to cooking to entertaining...she does it all!

Arriving this past Friday, Keith, Leisha, Grandma, and Grandpa Lanz showed us what the locals do for fun on Friday nights! Ropin'! Yep...we went to the local rodeo. The cowboys and cowgirls or should I say cow-persons (Is that the politically correct term???) practice roping. Nothing quite like the Rockies, horses, cows, and the high elevation to leave you breathless. :)
