Who said February is love month??

Whoever said, 'February is love month' is crazy!! Or were they correct?? Gail and I have had the privilege of 'Living on Love' as they say. We had 3 services, 2 workshops, and 1 banquet cancelled this month. As a general rule, cancellations have been few and far between, but February 2006 takes the cake!

Plans change. Circumstances happen. It's just a part of life. We continue to trust the Lord to meet our needs as He has in the past. We've been able to use some of our extra time to continue to hone and develop our ministry to meet the changing needs of the church today. In the next few weeks, I will try to give you a little teaser of what 2006 holds for Whole In One. We have some very exciting things ahead!! Keep us in your prayers as we pray that the rest of 2006 is as fruitful for the Kingdom as all the previous years combined!

Goin' to Kansas City...

We spent an incredible evening with the great people of Northland Cathedral in Kansas City, MO (http://www.northlandcathedral.org/). Whole In One served as the special music and drama team at their annual Valentines Banquet. There were over 200 in attendance. While our evening was filled with laughter and singing, everyone was reminded of the incredible love of our wonderful Savior, Jesus Christ.

We had a lot of fun and really enjoyed the fellowship with the great people of Northland Cathedral. From the 'Not-So-Newlywed Game' to Gail's violin 'Let Me Call You Sweetheart' medley, smiles were not hard to find. Pastor Harrup and Pastor Paul McGarvey were kind hosts. A special thanks to Miss Ruth who helped care for Anthony, and Micah who assisted us with all of our audio-visual needs!! Blessings!!

For the Sake of the Call

Yes. It is true. I actually put on ladies tights and make-up for the sake of missions. As some of you may or may not know, Whole In One has been working on a short term missions video training series being developed by John Plake of Frontline Ministries. John is an Assemblies of God appointed missionary. John asked us to write and produce comical sketches for the training series. Interjecting humor, as well as, reinforcing truths about cultural sensitivity helps people going on missions trips avoid embarrassing mishaps.

The video training series introduces 'The Ugly American" and all of his antics! Needless to say, very little acting on my part had to be done. I fit the profile perfectly. Loud and obnoxious is all part of a regular routine!! Okay, perhaps, the ugly American is a little more over the top, but it really wasn't much of a stretch for me. What was a stretch was women's 'medium-tall' tights!! They were the biggest pair of red tights I could find! I bought two pairs and wore them for almost 3 hours.

Against my better judgement, I will post a picture of "The Ugly American". It is not my most flattering look! With only an hour and a half break for lunch, we were in the studio from 9 - 5. It was an exhausting day, but I'm really excited to see how it all comes together.

Here it is....................................

A Life of Camping

In May 2005, Gail and I prayerfully decided to sell our home and all of its contents to free us to travel full-time. We purchased a 34' travel trailer which now serves as our home.

Did I mention that I do not have a great affinity for camping. Well, it is our life now. The following pictures were taken, February 8th just before we left for Springfield, MO. Though we were not taking our trailer with us, this kind of weather is not good trailer weather. I believe that next year we will do some better planning~ Arizona or Florida sound good to me!!

The house next to ours is Todd & Angela Pettibone's, former Whole In Oners! They have kindly allowed us to park in their front yard on the family farm! Living in the country and camping...eeeekkkk! What hath God wrought! LOL!!
