Solid Rock A/G, Grove City, PA

Gail and I had the privilege of sharing in ministry at Solid Rock Assembly of God in Grove City, PA on January 29th. Rick & Kathy Barnes are the Pastors at Solid Rock. It is exciting to what God is doing in the heart of Grove City. The church is located in a storefront property in downtown, Grove City.

When I think of storefront...I picture a rough old building with many maintenance needs. Well, we found quite the opposite. It was a beautiful facility. The church had transformed this older store into a welcoming, clean, and crisp facility with many modern features to meet the needs of a thriving church. The church welcomed Whole In One with open arms.

All of heaven rejoiced with us as one responded to the life changing Gospel message. We were also able to pray with many who needed encouragement and strength for their day to day lives. I think it is a common mistake to pray ONLY as a last resort when God truly cares about EVERY detail of our lives. We pray that many wonderful testimonies of God's faithfulness are heard as a result of what He did on a cool January day in Grove City, PA!

Thank you, Pastor Rick and Kathy for your kind hospitality and friendship! Blessings!!!

A Blast from the Past: CCA Chapel

Whole In One had the privilege in sharing at the first chapel service of 2006 for Central Christian Academy, my old alma mater. I attended CCA from 5th-7th grade. Mr. Don O'Hare, my school principal...who's still there, kindly showed the students my school picture from 5th grade in 1987-88. It was a lot of fun to be back and see what God is doing through the school.

Gail and I got to share in music and drama. We shared about the importance of prayer through 2006. Here are a few pictures...did I mention it was 'Pittsburgh Steelers Day'?

A New Year Variety ~ 57, that is!

Welcome To Heinz Field, Pittsburgh, PennsylvaniaHappy New Year! It's 2006! It's never too early for Heinz...There is no better way to celebrate the New Year than with family and football! As beneficiaries of my dear benevolent, generous, good-looking, intelligent, kind brother-in-law~the incredible, Gary Gummerman and his beautiful wife, Lisa, my Dad and I were able to attend the Steeler game at Heinz field on New Years Day.

It was an exciting adventure. This was Dad's first Steeler game! Gail and I had the privilege to attend the last Steeler game of the millenium in Three Rivers Stadium. before it was replaced by the new, high-tech Heinz Field. While Gail would have thoroughly enjoyed the game, she and I decided that Dad and I would go. (Thanks, Gail!!)

With a 35 to 21 win over the Detroit Lions, the Steelers secured an extension of their season, and they will face the Bengals in Cincinnati next Sunday. It was an incredible game and experience. One that my Dad and I will not forget...well, I won't forget, Dad's gettin' a little older, ya know? (Just kidding, Dad!!)

Here are a few shots for you all to enjoy! There were several opportunities to get some great action shots, but I was too busy waving my 'Terrible Towel' and yelling like a school boy!

Thank you, Gary & Lisa (and Ebay)!!!
