Todd and Angela Bid Farewell

Todd and Angela will also be starting their family around March 2 as their little one will enter the world. We are excited to celebrate with Todd and Angela and their baby boy!
September 25th was their last day with Whole In One. We were with First Baptist Church of Cottage Hills in the morning, and we finished the day at the Four Points Sheridan in Fairview Heights with O'Fallon Assembly of God as they celebrated with Pastor Edwards '50 years in ministry'. There was a surprise banquet and Whole In One provided a fitting pastoral roast!
Todd and Angela will continue to serve on our Board of Directors throughout 2005 - 2006.
We will miss you both! Whole In One is indebted to you for your incredible contributions to this ministry and to our lives. We love you!

Thank you for your continuing friendship, love, and support!!

First Assembly of God, Collinsville, IL

Pastor Jeff Gowen, Senior Pastor

September 18-21, we had the joy of sharing "Bee In The Hive" Kids' Crusade at Collinsville, First Assembly. We really had a great time with the kids and workers. Pastor Gowen and Pastor David served as incredible hosts. Each night was filled with great attendance and over 20 young people made a first-time commitment to Christ. We had a wonderful time of learning, worship, and tons of fun with the young people. We are already making plans for next year in Collinsville.
My sincere thanks to all of the INCREDIBLE workers from First Assembly who helped us make this who week a great success! You were all amazing!!
We are always grateful for the opportunities to pour into the lives of kids. Thank you, Pastor Gowen, Staff, and young people for a great kids' crusade!!

New Harmony, IN ~ Conference
While I hope that I don't have to make any major retractions or corrections, I'm certain that many of the details of this past weekend eluded me. All I know is that we had a great time getting to know these great people. Other than a few presenters, the conference was attended by Development Directers from Southern Baptist Children's Homes from across the nation.
Whole In One shared in ministry following dinner on Sunday night, the opening night. We did our zainy 'Back to the Basics' service which is a comedic look at Christian fundamentals. Everyone seemed to have a great time!! Our time concluded with a Brooklyn Tabernacle song, 'It's Not In Vain'. We were all mindful that 'what we do for Jesus Christ, is not in vain!'
The conference took place in New Harmony, Indiana. Until now, the town has remained largely undiscovered by the mainstream tourist groups. I'm afraid that this widely-read blog may create a massive influx of visitors and camera-toting 'persons' into this quaint little village. New Harmony is a beautiful, historic town with many shops, gardens, old homes, and sites for the whole family. I'm sure if you want more info, you can 'google' it!
